ACES: The Society for Editing
The professional organisation for US editors: their Freelance Finder directory connects authors with vetted member copy editors.
ACES, The Society for Editing is the leading professional organisation for US copy editors and editorial professionals. Their Freelance Finder directory allows authors and publishers to search for vetted member editors by location, specialism, and experience level. All listed editors are ACES members who have agreed to the organisation’s professional standards. Unlike a marketplace, ACES connects you directly with the editor’s own contact details, with no commission taken. For writers seeking a qualified US copy editor, ACES is the most authoritative professional directory.
